3. How to Make a Complaint

If you wish to make a complaint:

  1. Please email us at editor@project1-vwq5nhicyc.live-website.com with the subject line “Complaint”.

  2. Include your name, contact details, and a clear description of your concern.

  3. If relevant, please provide the title or link to the publication or page in question.

4. How We Handle Complaints

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.

  • We aim to provide a full response within 20 working days.

  • If further investigation is needed, we will let you know and keep you updated.

  • Where a mistake has been identified, we will take corrective action (e.g. amending or clarifying a publication).

5. Appeals

If you are not satisfied with our initial response, you may request a review. Your complaint will then be re-examined by a senior member of Policy Brief.

6. Data Protection Requests

If your concern relates to personal data (e.g. access, correction, erasure), please see our Privacy Policy and state your request clearly in your message. These requests will be handled in line with UK GDPR.

7. External Escalation

If your complaint relates to data protection and you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate the matter to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
